Small, fast-growing DC business management firm is seeking an bookkeeper to handle payroll, additional financial responsibilities and bookkeeping for clients. This business firm specializes in business management for artists, musicians, restaurateurs, DJs, chefs, and professional service firms etc.
Candidate must be go-getter with the ability to follow through with tasks from start to finish. Applicant must be able to work independently and have the ability to thrive in high-stress environments, be organized, and have a tolerance for dogs! We are looking for open-minded individuals willing to be a team-player and take on variety of duties that will include administrative tasks, on handling clients finances, bookkeeping, etc.
This is a very flexible work environment, with opportunity to work from home, however, you will need be available during the core office hours of 11am-3pm. The office is located in a recording studio, so you must have tolerance for occasional loud noise and traffic.
Education and Experience Qualifications Required: Minimum two years experience in office management and accounting/bookkeeping/billing or in equivalent position, with a thorough knowledge of office management procedures, financial procedures and operations.
